Airplane Quilt by Larre Allen

"Well I actually finished the quilt in time to give it to my husband on his 60th birthday which was last October.

It was hard to take a decent photo with it being so big. I found that if I hung it over the rail of my friend's loft, it photographed quite well. Hope it resembles your pattern.

I kept it more sky colored at the top and then worked down to the "Golden Hills". I also added a big airplane to represent the C-141s my husband flew in the military.

I was pleased with the final product and my husband loved it, so that is what really matters."
